bauma CHINA: special fair in a special year

More than 2,800 exhibitors on 300,000 square meters of exhibition space - trade fairs of this size were unimaginable this year due to the corona pandemic. Thanks to low local infection rates, bauma CHINA was able to take place in Shanghai under strict hygiene conditions.

The PFEIFER group is a long-time exhibitor at Asia's leading trade fair for the construction and mining machinery industry. From November 24th to 27th, the experts of our Chinese subsidiary informed about the extensive range of high-quality ropes and suitable rope accessories for cranes and construction machinery as well as services around the rope and its applications.

Despite Covid-19 challenges and strict hygiene regulations on the exhibition grounds, the interest of the visitors was generally high and the PFEIFER booth was also well frequented. However, due to this year's situation the audience in 2020 was less international. Anyway, for PFEIFER the fair was a success despite the current circumstances. Our international relations and businesses in China and Asia could be further expanded and strengthened.

The PFEIFER team is already looking forward to the upcoming bauma CHINA, which hopefully can take place under regular circumstances again.
